Noosa Holiday Home Refresh

This stunning house belongs to a dear client with whom we have worked previously - in fact, we were fortunate enough to work on this project when it was first designed and built back in 2013. We were more than thrilled to be back onsite.

Our client loves retreating to this beautiful holiday home, however was ready to refresh the furnishings. Our client wanted the house to feel like a home - warm and inviting, with a lovely lived-in vibe that instantly invites relaxation and comfort. She particularly liked a Plantation/Bahamian style, and we could instantly picture what a difference some darker tones and fresh new colours + patterns would make.

We had so much fun bringing this concept to life, implementing new coffee-toned rattan furniture and bamboo framed tropical artworks, already making you feel like you were relaxing on an island getaway. We brought in a fabulous array of pattern and colour through the soft furnishings, all in varying, complementary tones to invite a sense of joy and relaxation to each room. A stunning pineapple wallpaper featured in the powder room is a wonderful way to bring a carefree sense of fun into the home.

One of our favourite features throughout would have to be the stunning pendant lights, originally made 10 years earlier, but now brought back to life in vibrant hues of tropical green with a divine tassel detail.

As they sway in the breeze, you can’t help but feel the peace only a magical tropical holiday can bring.
